21-Day Juicing Challenge: Week Three, Full of Gratitude
November 1st was the last day of the 21-Day Juicing Challenge. It’s incredible how fast the three weeks flew: I just loved every minute of it! The best part about the challenge was getting to connect with wonderful people, everyday.
Day in and day out, we had amazing challengers posting pictures of their juice creations, and sharing their new recipes and discoveries. I learned a few things myself: fresh turmeric tastes incredible in a juice, so does fresh rosemary. All of the challengers had such great ideas, and they were so supportive: I’m going to miss all of them so much.
I’m beyond grateful for how many people showed up. And, I’m still in awe of what this juicing challenge has done for some people and families. Here’s what one challenger had to say:
“After being a part of Alison’s 21 day Get Your Juice On challenge I feel refreshed and calm. My mind is clear and my body feels wonderful. I started this challenge with no idea that it would change the way I lead my life. I figured it would just be me making one juice a day. It turned in to something way bigger. A week in to the challenge my husband joined me and has not stopped. He is now juicing every day – three times a day! We have reevaluated our entire diet and the way that we eat. Thank you Alison for inspiring me as well as my entire family. We are juicing converts and we look forward to many healthy years of juicing together!”
I wanted to host this challenge because I wanted a way to connect with people through my blog. And, happily, I got that and so much more. I had no idea that the simple act of making one juice a day, and eating all of your regular meals, would change people’s lives.
I just feel so overwhelmed with gratitude that I got to host this challenge, and I got to be surrounded by such inspiring, motivating and amazing people.
On the last day of the challenge, I decided to have neighbours over to celebrate with a glass of…you guessed it: juice! I served up some carrot, apple, ginger juice, and we toasted to a successful 21-Day Juicing Challenge.
I look so forward to the next 21-Day Juicing Challenge, which will be held in August of 2014. In the mean time, enjoy the pictures from my last week of the challenge, and keep an eye out for the new FREE juice recipe e-book that will be available to you on this blog, soon.
